Shortcut Keys for Windows 10

This guide lists shortcut keys that you can use from the desktop in Windows 10.

Windows keyOpen and close the Startmenu.
+1, +2, etc.Switch to the desktop and launch the nth application in the taskbar. For example, +1 launches whichever application is first in the list, numbered from left to right.

  1. windows I on or start button+R to run a program.
  2. To open cmd press start button+R and enter cmd 
  3. To open command prompt.3shutdown/restart by keyboard Alt+f4,
  4.  Start button+D to open desktop even if the computer in, not responding status,
  5. To open task manager press CTRL +SHIFT +ESC ,  
  6. To close an unresponsive program open task manager and see not responding status message close the application,

  1. CTRL+D, to bookmarks
  2. CTRL+ L to select location of Address bar
  3. to search quickly on google or default  search engine press CTRL+K, to open add-ons to disable or remove
  4. press CTRL+ SHIFT+A. 
  5. CTRL +S  save HTML document  
  6. CTRL+ N to open a window, 
  7. CTRL+T to add a new tab, 
  8. CTRL+W to close a tab 
  9. CTRL+SHIFT+DELETE to erase history 
  10. CTRL++ to zoom the document minus to decrease and 
  11. CTRL+O to reset zoom in Mozilla Firefox.

Msword keyboard shortcuts 

  1. CTRL+ N to open a new ms word. 
  2. CTRL+ S to save the document, 
  3. CTRL SHIFT A to capital all small words typed already 
  4. CTRL += to superscript
  5. CTRL +- to subscript. 

MS Exel Shortcuts

  1. CRTL+D = To Drag
  2. Filter: CRTL+SHIFT+ EQUAL
